ABOUT / CROMÌA METHOD
Artist · Conservator-Restorer · Tattoo & Corrective Dermopigmentation Professional · Founder & Creator of CROMÌA
My work has always lived at the intersection of art, material, color and restoration.

My professional journey began in Italy with a background in Fine Arts and Cultural Heritage Restoration, where I learned to observe materials, understand their condition and intervene with respect for what already exists.
That same way of thinking eventually led me from the conservation-restoration of artworks to working with skin as a tattoo artist, across tattooing, PMU (permanent makeup) and dermopigmentation.
Over the years, my practice expanded into artistic tattooing, fine art tattoo and classical art-inspired tattooing, PMU and corrective and paramedical dermopigmentation, with specialized experience in scar camouflage, restorative areola tattooing, skin-focused treatments and corrective work.
Across these fields, skin knowledge, skin assessment, pigment science, pigment chemistry, tattoo pigments, technique, healing and risk assessment inform responsible decision-making. In corrective and paramedical dermopigmentation, this includes the wider context often described as medical tattooing.
Observe first.
Understand the material.
Choose the right intervention.
Know the limits.
Protect the result.
Years of working across art, restoration, tattooing and corrective dermopigmentation revealed a need for something broader than technical ability alone.
Tattooing today requires an increasingly informed understanding of the skin, pigment, technique, healing, risk, previous outcomes and the limits of intervention — as well as dialogue between different professional disciplines.
This is where CROMÌA began.
CROMÌA creates a space where artists, educators, medical professionals and other specialists can exchange voices, ideas and knowledge. This interdisciplinary practice and collaboration supports tattoo education, professional tattoo education and a considered tattoo methodology.
Alongside CROMÌA, I continue to work selectively as an artist, focusing on classical art-inspired tattooing and corrective / aesthetic dermopigmentation.
